19.07 CONGRATS! to CH Amashutu Serenity "Riva" & Leigh McVilly won Best in Group 1.

21.03 Congrats to Inca & Mig's Daughter "Riva" on achieving her Australian Champion title, now known as CH Amashutu Serenity. Owned & bred by Amashutu Knls And proudly Handled by Leigh Mc Villy.. Riva got her title beating her dad by 2mths of him achieving his GRAND CH title..

18.02 Mig becomes a proud dad again (8 healthy pups no DS or Ridgeless and no excessive white or Black hairs), from a total outcross mating..

   At Leosodawi Kennels, I am proud to say that we
   haven't had any ridgeless or DS in the 5 litters that
   I have bred with facts and pics to show.

About Us

Leosodawi Kennels was established as a professional breeder of Rhodesian Ridgebacks in 2002. The name "Leosodawi" comes from the Latin (Leo) for Lion and from the Swahili (Usodawi) meaning pride. So together they are "Lions Pride". Although Leosodawi hasn't been around that long, I myself have been involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks for over 15 years.

During that time I have had the pleasure of showing, hunting, breeding and enjoying Ridgebacks as pets. Over the years the breed has given me so much joy that whether I am playing with them or just watching them, I no longer see them as pets, but members of the family!

Leosodawi Kennels is based in Hoppers Crossing, In Melbourne, Victoria in Australia.

With a beach nearby, as well as a large dam, the dogs have plenty of room to run, swim and play. In fact, my foundation bitch Layla (Amashutu Star Gazer) is always in the water playing where as Arbok (Ch Isilwane Matchbox Twenty) my male dog prefers to play chase.

All our dogs are HD and Elbow x-rayed and Graded by Prof Wyburn in Western Australia (Willis System and the AVA approved system)
